About Me

Who I Am

Zombies saved Jason Kristopher’s life. While stuck in the doldrums of the corporate world, novelist and publisher Jason Kristopher managed to complete the first title in his award-winning ‘zompocalypse’ series The Dying of the Light. Called ‘the best zombie book since World War Z,’ the novel End is now free on Amazon. Word-of-mouth from readers and great reviews allowed Jason to escape and pursue his passion for storytelling and publishing full time as the founder of Grey Gecko Press and author of several more books and stories.

When not tilting at windmills for his authors, Jason enjoys spending time with the dog that rescued him, making jewelry, reading, writing, movies, music (live and not), the Houston Astros (winning and not), singing karaoke and the Texas hill country, especially the vineyards. You can find out all you want to know (and more) on his website thefireinourheads.com or on Facebook (Author.JasonKristopher). Allons-y!

I should have noticed by your writing that you were a Texas boy. I really enjoyed the first two books in the Dying Light Trilogy and eagerly wait for the final story to close it out. I grew up on the Texas coast (Brazoria County) before entering the USAF for 20 years. We then moved back to Texas after living all over and settled just south of Fort Worth. Still have friends and family on coast and a cousin in Houston. Keep up the great writing.
